Living Invitations Part 8 Ministry Chat

June 19, 2017

Our series of sermons called Living Invitations continues this week here on Online Ministry Training. We are doing a little sub-series on the armor of God and this week we will be looking at the helmet of salvation. In 1 Thessalonians 5:8 Paul makes a reference to the helmet of salvation being the hope of salvation:

1 Thessalonians 5:8 (NIV)
8 But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

The hope we have is that in Christ we have been saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved. These concepts are expressed in justification, sanctification and glorification. In this weekends message I will develop these ideas and also talk about being transformed by the renewing of our mind.
